Is It Just Me?
Have you ever been in a slightly uncomfortable situation and you’re not sure you handled it the right way? Then it’s time to share your story! In the podcast Is it just me, anonymous “am I the asshole?” stories are told, these anonymous stories are discussed by two students and a guest student who is a varied experience expert. Every episode there will be a different topic that relates to students. The podcast contains a total of six episodes which all cover different topics. Each story has the question “am I the asshole for…” this question will be discussed by the students. Every episode has a different guest that fits the subject. We discuss the story and the guest gives tips and talks about his or her own experiences on that subject.

Episode 1: Tikkies
This episode discusses the subject of Tikkies, this subject can sometimes create
unpleasant situations. Especially among students. During this episode our guest Job tells his experiences
with Tikkies and we will continue to tell anonymous stories and respond to them with our guest Job.
Episode 2: Coming out
In this episode we discuss the subject of coming out. Our guest and expert Jens
knows more about this. Jens tells us his coming out story and how he experienced it. Later in the
episode we will tell three different anonymous stories and then respond to them together with our
expert Jens.
Episode 3: Addiction
In this episode we discuss the subject of addiction on. We discussed this topic
together with our guest and expert Jelmer. Jelmer tells us his story, how his addiction started and what
his life as a recovering addict looks like now. Furthermore, we will respond to three different
anonymous stories about addiction together with our guest Jelmer. This episode contains a disclaimer
for mentioning heavy subjects such as drugs and addiction.
Episode 4: Mental health
In this episode we discuss the subject of mental health together with our guest and
expert Jelmer. This is the second episode in which Jelmer appears. In this episode Jelmer tells his story
about how his mental problems started and his journey from past to present. Jelmer hopes that his story
will help and encourage people who are struggling with their mental health. We will also respond to
three different anonymous stories together with our guest Jelmer. This episode contains a disclaimer for
mentioning heavy subjects such as depression and eating disorders.
Episode 5: Student Traveling
In this episode we talked about the topic of “travelling” with our guest and expert
Alyssa. Alyssa told us about her trip to Bali and Thailand for her minors and how she experienced this. In
this episode, we respond to three anonymous stories along with our guest Alyssa. The anonymous
stories are about studying abroad and traveling to Thailand.
Episode 6: Student Jobs
In this episode we will discuss the subject of “student Jobs” together with our
guest and expert Thijs. Thijs tells us more about his job in sales and his experiences. In this episode we
respond to three different anonymous stories about student jobs and discuss them with Thijs.
