CrossWise Spot

From: Creative Business Profiles / Fast Track

Brief

CrossWise wants to contribute to an innovative, enterprising, socially participatory, and sustainable Northern cultural region in the cultural work field. Our team wants to know how and with what media products can content marketing be used to put fringe programming on the map among venues in NL and their audiences.

Introduction Crosswise

Learning in a multidisciplinary way and achieving exciting results together, that is possible in the CrossWise project. CrossWise is the vibrant practical environment of SPOT Groningen, where students and teachers of Alfa-college, Hanzehogeschool Groningen, NHL Stenden, Noorderpoort and culture professionals of SPOT Groningen learn and innovate together. Among other things, this is done in innovation labs, during projects and internships.

AIM

Develop an evidence-based media product (and create proof of concept) with which fringe-act Ragnarok can be ‘explained’ to suitable target groups. This media product will, if possible, be distributed by marketing departments of venues throughout the Netherlands. As for SPOT, they want to gain experience in attracting new audiences to (Fringe) theatre performances. During the project, coaching will be done according to the Design Thinking process. At the start of the project, moments will be arranged when students are expected in Groningen. Think of an introduction to the professionals, Ragnarok and the coaches, but also pitches during the Ideate/Prototype/Feedback phases. Of course, the final media product will be presented at the end of the semester.
