On & Roll is an immersive real life board game show that turns NHL Stenden into the playground of your dreams! Throughout the game four teams of two players each have to compete against each other to reach the end of the board and win the game. Which team will be the fastest, smartest, strongest and who really knows their partner? Be ready for an exciting journey full of surprises and challenges, with laughter, tears and fight! It will be an unforgettable experience!

Episode 1 - S.O.S.
Episode 1 - S.O.S.

The first episode is like a big introduction to the show. The audience gets to know the host, Mr. Host, who introduces himself dramatically, a drone shot shows the game field, and a short, animated video explains the basic rules of the game. The introduction of the teams takes place separately in different locations, that suit the different characters. After the teams got introduced, everyone comes together in the auditorium, at the beginning of the game field. Mr. Host welcomes them and randomly picks the first team to start and roll the dice. After each team has had a turn, the first episode ends.

Episode 2 - Stayin' Alive

The second episode is all about gameplay with different challenges. Special about this episode is the fact that the game is mainly unscripted but more realistic, meaning what happens depends on the numbers which the dice shows after the teams roll it. This episode ends very suddenly with a fire alarm and everyone but the cult runs out of the auditorium to save themselves.

The third episode begins differently than usual backstage. You can see Mr. Host getting a call that in the last episode, not everyone made it out of the auditorium after the fire alarm, and the cult didn’t survive. Mr. Host is mentioning that their chances of winning have now increased, he initiates the game, and the game begins, this time with more difficult challenges and sabotaging. The end of the episode is very raving as suddenly a mystery field appears which teleports everyone away.

This episode begins in a new location to which the participants are teleported. All but the Dionysus team, instead there is a new team, the participants are confused. Mr. Host appears and solves the riddle: the mystery field has teleported everyone to this special place where they must fight together against his little helpers, the Minions, to get back to the auditorium and free Dionysus, who are being held in the NHL prison. Mr. Host is the one who evaluates the games, but it is obvious which team he prefers, the Minions. And in the end they win indeed, the Dionysus cannot be freed and the Minions take their place.

Back in the auditorium, the teams must fight each other again, including the new opposing team, the minions. The participating teams now know each other and their strategies, they interact and battle with each other. Since they are getting closer to the end of the game field, the challenges are also more difficult and an elimination game of another team is at the end of the episode. This creates a reference to the different lucky charms of the teams; these items are hidden on set and the teams have to find them. Only the cowgirl team wouldn’t find it so has to leave the show.
