Plant Beast

In every episode of the show, there is a different meal that two teams of two people will have to prepare and aim to be the winning team. The chosen dish will be a traditional meal from a specific country and while one of the teams will follow the non-vegan recipe, the other team will have to turn it veggie friendly. The judges will be the host and a special guest from the chosen country of the week! Are you ready for it? Can you handle it?

In the first episode of Plant Beast, Spain is the country of the week. The two teams will battle and after a long day of cooking, only one of them will win the first winning team of Plant Beast ever. Which team will cook the best “tortilla de patata”? The vegan or the non-vegan one? Stay tuned and… a disfrutar!!

The second episode of Plant Beast takes a tropical turn to Curaçao, it is just off the Venezuelan coast in the southern Caribbean Sea. Willemstad is Curaçao’s largest city and capital. Like every other episode we show you how to cook the dish vegan or non-vegan. The dish for this episode is called “Snijbonchi stoba ku funchi” . This dish contains green string beans, onions, tomato and bell peppers. The funchi is made from cornmeal, salt, butter and water. The participants will show you how the dish will be made.

Join Miss Cow in this episode of Plant Beast where she experiences one of Vietnams traditional dishes, “PHỞ BÒ”. This dish usually consists of beef, onions, sugar, pepper, noodles and all sorts of juicy ingredients. Watch as the contestants go head-to-head to see who can create the best dish. The episode is full of drama and interesting facts that will surely grab your attention. Whose team will win? Vegan or non-Vegan? Watch the video to find out and don’t forget to enjoy!

In the fourth episode of Plant beast, we are taking you to Hungary to introduce you to their traditional dish “Goulash”. In this episode you will see the two of the possible ways to cook “Goulash” even in a vegan version. For the vegan recipe the beef that’s contained in the traditional dish, is changed with potatoes and a lot of veggies like peppers, onions and minced tomatoes. But whatever we are saying still won’t be enough to explain the tastes that vary in the goulash, just a Hungarian pleasure for the senses.

In our fifth episode Miss Cow and her loyal companion – Sir Steve – travel to Peru. Our contestants compete against each other by preparing a traditional Peruvian “Lomo saltado” dish. This stir fry dish typically combines marinated strips of sirloin with onions, tomatoes, French fries, and other ingredients. Who will win, who will lose? Vegan or Meat-eaters?

The 6th and final episode for Plant Beast is Italy. The participants get to make a dessert this time instead of a traditional dish from the country. Tiramisu is an Italian dessert with a coffee flavour. Numerous cakes and other desserts have been made from the recipe. The rule style applies for the vegan and non-vegan options. With pain to our hearts and tears in our eyes we say goodbye to Plant Beast. This episode was one of the greatest.
