The Unique You

In episode 1, the guest is musician Bradley Berkholst, who goes by the artist's name ‘’Kidd Nebula’’. He is a singer who produces his music in the Indie Funk/alternative music genre. He recently released the vinyl record of his album ‘I Don’t Like Any of You’, which he even pressed himself since he is working at a pressing plant. He toured with Popronde in 2018, 2019, and 2022. He released four singles, two EPs, and one album from 2017 to 2022.

The guest of the episode is filmmaker Ivo Kraan. He is an independent filmmaker and touring musician for the artist ‘’Faske’’. He has done several filmmaking projects, such as the music videos for ‘’Faske’’ and an award-winning documentary called ‘’Ik ben ook demand’’ (translates to ‘I am someone too’). He lives in Leeuwarden. He studied pop culture at the Minerva academy in Leeuwarden and started working in the film industry after his graduation.

For episode 3, we have scheduled DJ, Producer and Engineer Renco de Vries, who goes by the artist name ‘Renceau’. While occasionally having gigs at places such as the Neushoorn, either on his own or with Deeptrax, he also works in the logistics Department of Deepgrooves Vinyl Pressing Plant. This episode covers the art and the difficulties of music production and interpreting art.

The chosen guest for episode 4 of “The Unique You” is Tiffany Rondei, who is an owner of a small rug crafting business based in Leeuwarden. She has been working in this field for over a year and her speciality is creating abstract designs for rugs in the form of tufting. She had been chosen as a guest for the fourth episode of “The Unique You”, because of her extraordinary hobby and the fact that she is a student who is already on the way to pursuing her passion for creating art and establishing a small business at the same time.

The chosen guest for this episode is Michel Waanders. He is the founder of the gaming organization Northern Lions Esports in Leeuwarden. He was selected for the reason that he has managed to combine his studies in Hospitality and Hotel Management with his passion for gaming. As a result, he has managed to form a collaboration with NHL Stenden and build a platform that allows other students the opportunity to connect their studies with gaming. This episode will highlight the brainchild of this amazing feat and the journey that has led to what Northern Lions Esports is today.

In the 6th episode of the podcast, the tattoo artist named Priscilla will be the guest. She is 22 years old and she owns two tattoo shops, one in Leeuwarden. She is tattooing for 6 years. She was inspired by her parents, who were also working in the field of arts. The studies she had done were closely related to her current career path. In this episode, the world of tattooing is described while also getting an insight into the journey of The Tattoohive.
