Our concept is based on the idea: “Be as happy as you seem on Instagram!”. Filters make everything look better. They help people create their own stories, presenting their lives in the best way possible. But what is really behind that self-constructed and flawless seeming version of “life”? 

In the series Unfiltered we discover what those flawless seeming Instagram stories look like behind the scenes. A direct comparison between the unfiltered and real version of life and the edited stories that are posted in the same situation will emphasize the drastic difference.

Steffi, a creative business student takes us with on her shopping trip in Oldenburg. We see how she presents herself on Instagram throughout the day, faking scenarios and editing photos.
